The Freemont Street Experience

This video was shot by Durham Central Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. The downtown area has undergone a multi-million dollar restoration project named "The Freemont Stree Experience". The entire downtown area is now paved with sidewalks and all traffic is blocked. The Casino's are much more friendly and their "hustle the tourist" attitude is gone. Indeed this is an impressive transformation of the downtown which just a few years earlier was a depressing mess worth avoiding. Today this area is not only safe for families to visit but is a MUST SEE when you visit Las Vegas... The Entertainment Capital of the World! Incidentally the light canopy in the video cost over 16million dollars and is 4 city block long!
