We were greeted by our waitress who explained how everything works.  You see, at this restaurant you pick your own stir fry ingredients which are then cooked on a large round gas fired grill.

There are dozens of ingredients and sauces to choose from.  The ingredients include chicken, beef, sausage, tons of vegetables, dried spices and sauces.  Once you have filled your bowl with ingredients, you then give it to the cook who proceeds to pour it onto a 750 degree round grill.  The cook then stirs and folds your concoction using two long sticks until it is fully cooked.

We were at the Mongolian for lunch, which was a quite time and a great opportunity to learn how things work.  From our discussions with the cook and waitress, it can get VERY busy in this restaurant in the evenings, so if you're going for dinner, be sure your not in a rush.

Apparently in the evening, they have up to 6 cooks around the grill who sing and chat to entertain the guests while their dinner is being cooked.  We'll have to return to see this for ourselves.

As we mentioned you choose your own ingredients for your "stir fry" meal, but your waitress/waiter will also provide bowls of rice and tortilla shells to complete your meal.  Our lady's had to sample some of the Mongolian's fruity cocktails which were excellent!  The guys stuck with beer!

Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and didn't rush us our make us feel anything but totally at home!  Excellent job!

We highly recommend the Mongolian for a unique, tasty and fun meal out.  We're sure you'll enjoy it as much as we did!
