IMPORTANT NEWS: Home Renovation Tax Credit (HRTC)
Your home improvement expenditures may, for a limited time, make you eligible for a tax credit of up to $1,350.
•May be claimed by homeowners for renovations & enduring alterations to a dwelling, or the land on which it sits
•For work performed after January 27, 2009 and before February 1, 2010, pusuant to agreements entered into after January 27, 2009
•A 15% tax credit may be claimed on the portion of eligible expenditures exceeding $1,000 but not more than $10,000
•Eligible properties include houses, condominium units & cottages for the claimant's personal use |
